As a member of the association you can use the letters ACCA or FCCA after your name (depending on your grade of membership), and will be able to work in all areas of the profession, from public practice or industry to central or local government. An ACCA member is qualified to hold the position of company secretary for a public limited company.

What is ACCA ?

How long will it take?


  • Qualification can be obtained in minimum 2 years’ time but 3 years’ practical experience is required to become a member
  • Maximum 4 exams in single attempt

Who is it for ?


If you meet the minimum entry requirements as below:
  • Two A-Levels and three GCSEs (or their equivalent)
  • These need to be in five separate subjects including English and math.
  • CBSE 5 subjects including English and Mathematics / Accounts, mark of 65% in at least 2 subjects and over 50% on the others.
if you don’t have the minimum entry requirements:
  • You can still join ACCA to study accounting as a student, you need to start your studies with Foundation-level
